Touch-free sensor reliable after 8 months
We placed two of these at the entrance to our GP surgery following an infection control review — the touch-free infrared sensor was the mandatory requirement. Eight months in, neither unit has had a sensor failure or false-trigger issue. The spray dispense mode is preferable to gel for quick in-and-out patient flow: it dries faster, which reduces the queue at peak morning appointment times. The metal construction looks appropriate in a clinical context and the grey finish suits our entrance area. Two-year warranty is in line with what we require for clinical equipment.
